About Gallery de Neyuh
Our Story
Saigon, since 2008
From the beginning, Gallery de Neyuh has been about leather goods made by hand, carried every day and kept for years. What began in 2008 as Cincinati Leather, a Saigon store making bags for men, grew through word of mouth. Saigon locals came first, then the expats living in the city, then travellers who took our bags home with them.
A name written backwards
In 2014, designer Kate Nguyễn launched Neyuh Leather, a line of bags for women at work. She took her own name, Huyen, and wrote it backwards. The name has stayed with the brand ever since.
A year later came Neyuh Home & Travel, with leather trays, desk pieces and items for hotel rooms, and Neyuh Gifts, which creates corporate gifts from choosing the design to personalisation and packaging.
Four brands, one gallery
Today, Gallery de Neyuh is home to four brands. Cincinati Leather makes bags and accessories for men at work. Neyuh Leather makes laptop bags and accessories for professional women. Neyuh Home & Travel makes leather pieces for hotels, offices and homes. Neyuh Gifts creates custom gifts for companies. Our workshop also designs and produces leather goods for other brands (OEM/ODM). Each brand serves a different person, and every piece is made the same way.
From Saigon to the world
Kate has always hoped that the skill of Vietnamese craftspeople would be known and valued around the world. That hope has taken our pieces to trade fairs in Paris, London, Frankfurt and Dubai, and into stores in the United States. However far they travel, each day still begins in Saigon, at our gallery on 168 Lý Tự Trọng.
One day, when someone asks where their leather bag was made, we hope the answer will be Vietnam.

Our craftspeople
Our workshop brings together craftspeople who have worked with leather for ten to fifteen years or more, and young makers who chose the trade because they love it. The experienced hands guide the new ones through cutting, edge finishing and stitching, so that every piece leaves the bench neat and solid.
Our materials
We work in cowhide because it softens and gains colour the longer it is used. Alongside it we use linen, rattan, bamboo, wood and small metal details. That is why, in our gallery, a leather tissue box sits beside a rattan bag, and a leather storage basket beside a desk set.
Made to be yours
Many of our desk, home and gift pieces can carry a name or a logo, by blind embossing, silver foil or gold foil. One piece for one person, or a full set of gifts for a company.
What we believe
We believe a good bag should look better after five years of use. We believe leather made for everyday life should be made by people who work with leather every day. And we believe Vietnamese craftsmanship can stand beside the great names of the world.

Gallery de Neyuh is at 168 Lý Tự Trọng, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 21:00. We look forward to welcoming you.
